Ioana was dropped off at the orphanage about 2 and a half years ago with her brother Claudiu. Her mother and father dropped her off at the gates- they were simply too poor to care for them and the kids were too young to help the family bring in money. Read More

$100 Follow Up

Growing Up Missions
Living in the village was an awesome experience. We lived without electricity or running water. We had an out house a little ways off at the edge of a coconut grove and a wash house made of woven palm fronds behind our house. Our floor was sand, and my mom would use a broom made of palm fronds to sweep it. My dad worked with the village men to build a mud stove that my mom used to cook our meals. (Have I mentioned yet how amazing my parents are?) Read More

When we first started going to Bridgeway (at that time Roseville Hope) we felt so out of our element. I had been attending our old church since I was born, and Ben had been going there since high school. We met and married in that church, so we had years of memories and strong relationships. Up to that point in my life had not ever had to “make†friends. Anyone new to our old church was coming to me so it was easy.
