Bridgeway Christian Church

Yesterday's game was a relay race where the kids had to transport water from one bucket to another via a sponge.  It was awesome!  The only problem...Once the relay was over, things turned into a huge water fight!  It was a BLAST!  It seems every kid has a bucket or a water bottle of some sort for just an occasion.  We were all drenched from head to toe and had to make the 45 minute ride back to the Team House wet.  My shoes were so wet my feet were wrinkled!

It was a great day, but it was somewhat spoiled by the fact that there are a few kids who daily steal a soccer ball or two from us.  The rules are that all balls, jump ropes etc come back to us and we bring them back when we come back.  We've just lost too many soccer balls this week and one of the H2H staff brought the hammer down on the kids as we left.  The kids were so cute as the H2H staffer explained to the kids that when you steal from us, you disrespect us.  The H2H staffer explained that each person on the team had paid over $2000 US to come and play with them.  The kids just gasped in amazement!

I have a suspicion, the two soccer balls will show up today.  AND, I bet another water fight breaks out!
