The New Bridgeway Building
05.20.08
Things are looking good on the back lot today. The crew is back and moving lots of dirt around. I never could have imagined how much dirt you have to move in order to build a church. But, I guess you do!
Why is all this necessary? Well, there were 5 soil samples taken before construction began a few weeks ago. As luck would have it (if you believe in that kind of thing), all of the samples missed the hardened clay in the middle of the lot. So, it all had to be removed down to about 3 feet below the surface, treated with lime, mixed with good soil and replaced back in the hole
It looks like Mount Bridgeway is getting smaller as the hole fills in today. It looks closer to Mound Bridgeway now!
As a quick reminder, please do not venture into the construction zone. It looks harmless enough, but it's a dangerous place to be right now.
Peace!

I'm sure that's some sort of clay sample your holding...but looks like a shot of some ale. ha ha.

Actually...it's coffee. In Indonesia coffee looks more like 10W30 Quaker State. But it's good!
