If you happened to miss it (and most of you did!) :) the congregation approved a $2M budget for the 2008-2009 Fiscal Year beginning in July!

I am absolutely in awe of what the Lord has done here at Bridgeway. I remember the first budget we ever passed in 1996 and we had all the members sign a form stating what they would promise to give for the year! We had no idea what we were doing!!

Now we'd never do that now, but it just speaks to how much we have grown as a church.

I realize these are tough economic times. I also know there are some of you who are out of work, going through foreclosures, or just trying to figure out how you're going to pay for all that $4.75 per gallon gasoline. And yet, we have strong financials as a church.

So, I want to say THANK YOU for your faithfulness to the Lord and to the ministry here at Bridgeway!
