5 Different Directions

Yesterday was quite an event filled day for us. A few of us went to help break camp where for the past month, orphans have been going for summer camp. It was a 3 hour drive from Bucharest, but it was a very pretty drive. Once at the camp, we could tell that much ministry had happened in that camp over the past month. We folded tents, cots, etc and 2 hours later, we had filled 5 cargo vans full of stuff and made the three hour jaunt back to Bucharest. It was a full day for sure.
Some of the team went back to the orphanage where the kids had a great time playing soccer and jump rope. The kids have grown to expect us every afternoon and have ben incredibly well behaved compared to the first day we were there.
We also were able to take 6 members into the baby hospital to hold orphaned babies, change them, and feed them. This is a very emotional place, but the babies at this hospital are well cared for. A couple of babies were sick and it was really hard to leave them in their cribs.
Today, we had a slow morning around the house and will heading to Alpha Omega Church. Looking forward to seeing how Romanians worship! Because of the prevalence of the Orthodox Church, the evangelical church is still looked upon as the freaks, the cult in town. So those who have decided to follow Jesus are really sold out for Him. We'll let you know what it's like.
Peace!
