Uganda - YAAKA AFRIKA - Pastor Steven Trint
Pastor Steve has been a partner to Bridgeway since 2008 when we sent a mission’s team to Toggo laying the foundation of the (now open) Toggo International Children’s Center. Pastor Steven Trint is married to his wife and ministry partner Rosette Trint and has a family, which continues to grow as his heart leads him. As a young child, having to escape from being captured as a child soldier, and selling timber to pay for his school fees, Pastor Steve has been a direct influence to change an entire generation by offering them an education through sponsorship and the love of Christ. Currently Toggo International Children’s Center has more than 400 children enrolled as we continue to add on to the school and see that no child is denied of a good education and the opportunity to know Christ. "TICC has now 526 students enrolled. As this number continues to grow, it would be an understatement to say we are out of room. We are praying for the provisions to continue to add dormitories, teacher's quarters and continuing the construction project of more classrooms for incoming classes. Please continue to pray for our staff and missionaries involved as teams are growing, interns are serving and our partners continue to pour out their heart to make a difference in the future and present of Uganda.
Malawi - Beacon of Hope-Blessings Chibambo
Blessings works with his partner Promise as a joint founder of Beacon of Hope in Malawi Africa. Bridgeway partnered with Beacon of Hope in the summer of 2010 to concentrate on spreading the love of Jesus through providing clean water to the village of Muzu. This past year Bridgeway has continued by partnering with Mkanda Village, by sending a team in November of 2011 and adopting the clean water project, to provide safe drinking water for those who have no access. Blessings serves as our partner with the desire to partner local villages in Malawi and our team to build a foundational relationships though Christ, education, and the physical needs of medical aid, nutrition and more. Romania - Heart to Heart
Bridgeway has been partnering with Heart to Heart in Romania every summer since 2007. Due to a corrupt government and a bad economy; Romania has been left with thousands of abandoned children living in government institutions. Living in these government institutions has left these children unloved and neglected, in need of medical, educational, and spiritual development. Bridgeway has partnered with H2H to minister in a number of ways to abandoned and orphaned children in the state operated orphanages. H2H also cares for abandoned infants and toddlers, provides education for school-aged children, and mentors and disciples older teens who have been institutionalized throughout their childhood. "Romania is heavy on my heart as they are suffering from some heavy snow fall. There have been many reported deaths from hypothermia. Please pray for the kids in the orphanages and the people within the country who are out on the streets. Please also pray for the Heart to Heart staff to have travel mercies as they try to continue ministering and working with the children there.
There is also a staff training beginning, and I ask for prayers that God will reveal, revive and refresh the staff in Romania. As full-time staff serving daily they need the Spirit's renewal and revival daily to continue to pour out and pour into the lives of the orphaned children they serve daily.
I also ask for specific prayers for five of our teenagers who are attempting to prepare for an entrance exam into college. Most of these kids have been pushed and muddled through their formative years of school. These kids have to make leaps and bounds in their education in a small about of time in order to pass this exam. This exam could help secure a future and continued education for these kids. Please pray they would realize the importance and be committed to learning and passing these exams.
Cambodia - Agape International Mission
In October of 2011, Bridgeway partnered with AIM to serve in a community center known as Rahab’s House. The location was a former brothel for child sex trafficking in Svay Pak, Phnom Penh, which was raided by International Justice Mission (IJM) and emptied of its child sex slaves. In August of 2007, Agape International Missions (AIM) leased the building and re-opened it as a community center the following month. Food, medical care, dental care and education are freely given to the surrounding villagers. Please join Bridgeway Missions on the city to learn more about upcoming missions to Cambodia.

Guadalajara - Enfoque Ciudad - Darren and Justin Hurst
Darren Hurst and Justin Hurst are the directors of Enfoque Ciudad (City Focus), a Christian evangelistic ministry / 501c3 non-profit that seeks bring the grace and truth of Jesus to Mexico in both word and deed. Currently their ministry is training to begin a casa hogar (orphanage) in Guadalajara, Mexico, and is working on the development and construction of the orphanage. Their ministry seeks to impact the youth of Mexico by the gospel to see people meet Jesus and in turn live new lives of loving God and their neighbors.
