MISSIONS OVERVIEW
If you're like us then you know the feelings and thoughts going through our head of "I need to do something, I need to go somewhere." Well friends, we believe the Holy Spirit could be guiding you to step out and experience life on a mission trip.
Too many times we see people sitting on the sidelines while a team is going out and experiencing Jesus in a way they could not if they stayed home. We urge everyone to consider a call by going somewhere. In the next 3 years our goal is to send 25% of our church body out on at least one short term mission trip. Whether it's going to Romania to work with the orphanages, going to Uganda to encourage the local Pastors and building churches, going to Mexico and participating in VBS or construction, or going somewhere local, your life will be changed! Maybe it's going to downtown Sacramento to volunteer with Loaves and Fishes or going to the local children's hospital to be a gift of joy into some child's life. We want you to go out!
The Missions Team is here to help guide you, prepare you, pray with you and send you on a trip that might very well change your life.
For 2009 we have designed trips for everyone, whether you're single, a couple, or whether you're a whole family that wants to experience something together. It doesn't matter if you're young or if you're young at heart.
We have heard the church body and feel there is a need to step out in faith and pursue Christ at a different level. We want to guide you in the right direction.
