Video Arts
Visual Arts. This covers everything from video on the web to video and lighting in the weekly services.
Our video department focuses in two main areas. Videos created for play during service times are meant to bring information to our family, as well as help people connect with one another. Most weekends you will see a video designed to inform you about places in our community, region, or world where you can make a difference, or a video testimony from one of our attenders here at Bridgeway. We know it's hard to get to know new people- and the testimonies are shown specifically to help you get to know the people around you, and show you that you are never alone in your struggles. Our testimonies are real, authentic, and messy... just like our lives.
The videos we produce for the web are usually more for fun. Anything that doesn't necessarily add to the weekend services is put online for all to see!
We are always looking for volunteers in the video department... and we are willing to train! If you have an interest in shooting, lighting, editing, etc. contact Rachel Clark at !
LEADERSHIP BIO - RACHEL CLARK
Hey! I've been leading the multimedia department here at Bridgeway since 2004-ish sometime, and on staff here since 2006. I grew up in media- my dad was a television engineer, and I spent my childhood getting in trouble for doing cartwheels between all the tape decks! I grew up in Charlotte, NC, and my dad worked for PTL, which is a whole other story itself... when I was 15 we moved out here to CA and my dad went to work for a place called Fresh Air Media, who worked with Billy Graham, Promise Keepers, and others. They took me in as an intern, trained me from the ground up (literally... my first job was sweeping and organizing tapes). By the time I graduated from college, I'd been given opportunities to work all over the world with Fresh Air and their ministry clients. I had a well rounded knowledge of writing, shooting, editing and graphic design.
A few years later I branched out a bit, left Freah Air, and went to work for Comcast in Sacramento, producing local and regional commercials. That was a huge learning experience, and I walked away from that job with the knowledge of how to work with clients and handle the business side of things. From there I launched my freelance career... which was going great... and then God called me into full time ministry at Bridgeway. I love looking back and seeing where God prepared for this job at each step in my life. I love seeing how His plans totally blow mine away! I've been a Christian since I was a little kid... there's been ups and downs on my end for sure... but I always know the meaning of the word "home" - and that's where I am today.
