TRACTION is a mission conference for young adults, 18-32+. It will be held here at Bridgeway, December 27-29, to connect this generation with a passion for Jesus. This is a convergence of ideas, young adults, experience, prayer, fellowship, exhibitors, consultations, 50 workshop topics, 5 keynote speakers, 5 meals and a Lincoln Brewster concert to produce a passion for the worship of God from all the nations.  If you are spinning your wheels and need traction to move, this event is for you.

We, at The Harvest Group, want to extend an invitation to you, to join us at Traction. Registration will be Sunday afternoon December 27th from 3 PM until 7 PM on the campus of Bridgeway Christian Church in Rocklin. You can enter to register at the north east corner of the campus. The earlier you register the better for you. We will be using classrooms at Bridgeway and William Jessup University as well as additional buildings near Bridgeway.

Traction is targeted at today’s emerging generation (18-32+) where prayer movements are surging here and around the world. Your generation wants to take the good news of Jesus to new levels so that cultures and every aspect of society is changed. You reject the status quo and want to turn this world on its head with the gospel that transforms. We have provided a platform to strategize with you, counsel, guide and connect you with God’s passion.

In John chapter 17, Jesus prays to the father and in that prayer you can see the passion Jesus has to do the will of the father before he went to the cross to die. In verse 18 he is praying about the disciples and He states “As you have sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.” As he was commissioned we too are commissioned. We hope you will become infected with the passion of Jesus. It will drive you into serving Him in ways you’ve never imagined and provide the traction to get started.

Traction is focused on God’s greatest passion (His desire to be worshiped), the foundation for His commission, God’s heart and Love for His creation, His Glory, what people groups are still unreached and the strategies and people needed to reach them. Your generation has the drive and opportunity to complete the commission in your life time be it over the fence or overseas.

The key note speakers are Jeff Lewis, Lance Hahn, Dr. Jeffery De Leon, Kathy Giske and Reid Saunders. Their photos, bios and videos are throughout the Traction web site.

We have designed this web site so that you can participate in choosing five workshop topics by going to the workshop page and answering several questions. We will select the most popular topics and a panel of experts will lead the discussions. We have chosen some topics and they are listed along with a few descriptive sentences and information about those leading the workshops. We realize that the choices will be difficult for most of you, so we will be recording all of the workshops and offering you with the possibility of coming back to the web site to download the ones you missed on mp3.

When you leave we expect that you will have connected with the people we have invited or you will have found a direction or contact for help so that you will be able to progress toward what God wants to accomplish through you. It is in serving that you will experience joy beyond your wildest imagination.
