I am the baby my mom thought she could never have. I can’t remember life without Jesus- thank you Mom, Dad and Children’s ministry! I was born in Fresno and moved to the Sacramento area when I when I was a toddler where two more siblings were added to my family.

I graduated in four years with three degrees- do that math! I had big plans for my life after graduation- none of which included working at a church. Luckily, I obeyed my Lord and followed Him as I left my church of 11 years and started attending and serving at Bridgeway in the spring of 2006. I was offered a job fall of 2008 and I could not imagine a place to better use what giftings God has given me. I love finding ways for all learning styles to access God’s word, being innovative and learning through doing.

For as long as I can remember I have always loved music and kids. When I was little, this translated into me singing with a local opera company, babysitting, serving at kids camps, taking voice lessons, directing children’s plays and going on mission trips.

As the years passed, my loves turned into passions fueled by my understanding of the grace and mercy He had shown me.

I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2005 with a BA in Child Development.  Soon after graduation, my best friend Nathan and I were married. We moved to the area in 2006 after Nathan was offered a job working as a graphic designer and I began teaching preschool until our son Micah was born. We began attending Bridgeway in 2007 and started serving in Kidsway shortly after.

Now a few years later, we have added a daughter to our family and I am now serving as your Nursery-Tots 1 Coordinator. I feel truly blessed and grateful to not only be a part of the Kidsway team, to be able to serve you and your families but also to be a part of the great work the Lord is doing here at Bridgeway.

I am originally from the Bay Area and have been living in Roseville for the last 3 years. Luckily, my family is slowly migrating over here too, yay! My husband, Kyle, and I were married in October 2010 and we have spent the last two years working on making our house a home. I have a passion for baking and love to try new cupcake recipes and techniqes & in the winter love to go skiing with my husband! Serving & now working in Kidsway is amazing and I feel God using me and stretching me in so many ways while I interact with the awesome kids there!

My ministry has been full time at home for the last 13 years and I figured that was where God was going to keep me…rarely does God ever lead me down a road that I think we will be going though. Here’s some examples: I am an only child but the oldest of 4. My mom and Dad are also my aunt and uncle. I have my associates degree but have never stepped foot on a college campus. It really has been a journey of twists and turns, but never a dull moment.

I have been blessed with an incredible husband, 5 amazing children and now a job that I love and I believe God has truly molded me for. As the Kidsway Staff Admin I not only get to support this amazing ministry, but also other ministries and best of all I get to love on and minister to these amazing kiddos and their families in a way that I never thought would be possible.

I was born and raised in the Sacramento area.  Northern Cali is my happy place!!  I grew up in a Christian household and we were always active in church.  I met my husband when I was 14, in youth group. One of our first dates was roller blading up to Dairy Queen...only if life stayed that simple!!  God has blessed us with two crazy cool boys, Nolan (8) and Bennett (5). After a long wait we are expecting #3 this June!! (no we weren't trying for a girl)

I am a "tell it like it is kinda girl" I will always keep it real, and my favorite thing to do is laugh.  I don't take myself or life too seriously which is good because God has allowed me face some tough situations.  Through those experiences I have never been so grateful to know him and thankful that he desires me to draw near to him.  I have never been more sure of his goodness and faithfulness and my heart is his forever.  Working for Kidsway is an absolute blast especially for someone like me who's almost never serious and loves to be silly.
